Advanced helps client Pentland support Sorrell

Advanced Supply Chain supplied a Mercedes HGV to a charity for use during the London Lord Mayor’s Show, following a request from global brand management company and long standing client Pentland.

In support of the Sorrell Foundation, Pentland requested a HGV which could be used as a float in the Lord Mayor’s Show, a ceremonial event held every year in the capital.

The Sorrell Foundation was set up in 1999 with the aim of inspiring creativity in young people and improving the quality of life through good design.

Mike Danby, CEO at Advanced Supply Chain, said: “We were delighted to be able to step in and support Pentland in their charity campaigning for the Sorrell Foundation.

“We hear the day was a huge success and would like to congratulate Pentland and the Sorrell Foundation on the part they played in the Lord Mayor’s Show. A tremendous achievement.”

As a business which champions great design and innovation, nurturing young design talent is something that Pentland is passionate about. The UK-based global business are proud supporters of The Sorrell Foundation’s National Art & Design Saturday Clubs, which focus on giving young people across the country the opportunity to develop their creative skills.

Katie Greenyer, creative director at Pentland, said: “The Pentland-sponsored float for the National Art & Design Saturday Club would not have been possible without the generosity of ASC. The Club Members had a fantastic time showcasing their talents with the crowds the lined the procession.”
