As the the weather turns into autumn we move closer to peak season for retailer. Here’s what we’ve been doing to work up to that…
Our Sustainability Report

Sustainability is embedded in the way we operate, innovate and support our customers. As part of the Reconomy Group, we’re helping to create more circular, lower-carbon supply chains through practical, data-driven solutions that deliver real impact.
In 2025 alone, we recycled 4,079 tonnes of material, diverted 100% of operational waste from landfill and achieved a 52.3% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions since 2021.
From enabling circularity and reducing emissions to investing in our people and promoting responsible business practices, we’re focused on building a more sustainable future for our customers, communities and industry.
Get Peak Ready

As retailers prepare for the busiest trading period of the year, ensuring operations can handle increased demand is essential. Peak season can place significant pressure on supply chains, with issues such as non-compliant packaging, unscheduled deliveries, part-loaded vehicles and quality control failures creating costly delays.
To minimise disruption, businesses should establish clear packaging and labelling standards, implement robust delivery booking systems, optimise vehicle utilisation and strengthen quality control processes through regular inspections and technology-driven checks. By addressing these challenges proactively and working closely with logistics partners, retailers can improve efficiency, maintain customer satisfaction and ensure a smoother, more resilient peak season operation.
We’ve put together this handy blog post that will ensure you are prepared for peak season.
Supporting Local

Following the fantastic response to our Employee Survey, colleagues recently had the opportunity to visit Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, one of the charities receiving a donation as a result of survey participation.
James Bridson, Sheffield General Manager, joined members of the CVF and People Team for a tour of the hospice and presented a donation of £625. The visit provided a great insight into the valuable work the charity does to support children and families across the region.
We’re also exploring additional ways to support the hospice beyond fundraising, including donating suitable surplus stock for its charity shops and providing volunteers to help sort donations. It’s fantastic to be able to make a difference through both financial support and practical assistance.
Most recently, colleagues helped raise a further £136 through a charity raffle. While there wasn’t an ASC winner this time, perhaps we’ll have better luck with the next one! Thank you to everyone who has taken part and continues to support our charitable activities and community partnership.
