ASC celebrate a successful first year in Germany and Europe

Recently, teams from Advanced Supply Chain, Reconomy, and ReBound gathered in Nettetal to honour the successful launch of our European Operating Facility. With a remarkable investment of €69 million, our 21,647 sqm site has swiftly become a vital hub for retailers and brands looking to expand their sales and supply chains across Europe. This celebration was not just about achievements but also about expressing our gratitude to our dedicated staff and embracing an exciting future.

As the red carpet was rolled out, General Manager Damian Leszczyński warmly welcomed our guests to kick off the festivities, while Managing Director Ben Balfour inspired attendees with a heartfelt speech recognizing the contributions of our staff, customers, and partners in creating hundreds of new jobs in Nettetal. Here’s to many more successful years ahead!

Guy Wakeley, CEO of Reconomy, expressed Ben’s appreciation and celebrated the significant achievement of ASC’s flourishing presence in Nettetal. Reconomy is dedicated to empowering businesses to be active players in the circular economy while minimising waste and enhancing resource efficiency to forge a sustainable environment. The diverse expertise and value-added services provided in Nettetal play a key role in this mission, as ASC collaborates with clients to refine more resource-efficient supply chains.

Following the gratitude-sharing, attendees enjoyed a delightful lunch accompanied by games, music, and a raffle featuring fantastic prizes.

Our teams in Germany and the UK are partnering with both new and loyal customers to create tailored solutions that encompass a wide array of value-added services like pre-retail, returns processing, fulfilment, wholesale, distribution, and transportation.

Additionally, our specialised ‘Retail Ready’ service is gaining traction as suppliers in retail supply chains look to enhance their time to market, align with retailer standards, and boost efficiencies.
