Complete Logistics Planning
We plan the entire journey of your shipment. Starting at pickup, we arrange for your goods to be transported from your facility to the airport. We select the flights or air cargo services that best meet your timeline and budget, and coordinate any necessary warehousing or handling at transit points as well.
Carrier Coordination
SC serves as the intermediary between you and the airlines or cargo carriers. We work with a trusted network of airline partners worldwide to secure cargo space. Due to our volume and relationships, we often have access to competitive rates and multiple service options across various airlines.
Documentation & Compliance Handling
We prepare and review all documents, including the air waybill (AWB), commercial invoices, packing lists, and any export/import permits. We also take care of customs clearance at destination, so when the plane lands, the paperwork is ready for inspection. Minimising time on the tarmac and speeding up final delivery.

Customs Brokerage
As a full-service forwarder, ASC offers customs brokerage services. Our customs experts prepare electronic filings and leverage any expedited customs programs available to clear your goods swiftly. If there are duties or taxes, we can facilitate advance payment or use deferment accounts to avoid delays at customs.
Issue Resolution & Communication
If any hiccups, flight delays, offloads, or customs queries occur, we jump into action to resolve them and keep you informed. We maintain clear, open communication with you throughout, so you always know the status of your shipment and have expert support available for critical movements.
Coordination of Multimodal Needs
Sometimes air freight is just one component of a journey. We integrate air services with other modes as needed: for example, origin logistics services like consolidation at source, or road freight on either end of the flight, or even switching between air and sea for different legs. We ensure all legs connect smoothly.

ASC, Your Trusted Partner for Air Freight Forwarding

When you entrust your urgent shipments to ASC, you’re choosing a partner known for reliability and excellence in the air freight arena. Our objective as your air freight forwarder is simple: make the complex job of urgent global shipping straightforward and stress-free for you, while delivering on the promise of swift transit. Here’s why businesses across industries rely on our air forwarding services:

  • Access to the Best Air Freight Rates & Services:
Through our well-established relationships in the air freight industry, we give you access to the very best international air freight rates and service options. We work closely with major global airlines and cargo carriers.
  • Global Coverage, Local Knowledge:
ASC’s network ensures we can ship to and from virtually any location that has air service. From major international airports to regional cargo hubs, our reach is global. More importantly, we complement that reach with local expertise; our teams or partners on the ground handle local compliance, documentation, and delivery nuances.
  • Speed without Compromise:
Air freight is about speed, and we make sure that speed is realised end-to-end. It’s not just about a fast flight; we also expedite pickup, processing, and last-mile delivery. Our operations are geared for quick turnarounds, which means we can often arrange same-day pickup for urgent air consignments, and we work in sync with airport handling agents to swiftly lodge shipments for upcoming flights.
  • Reliability & Security:
Speed is nothing without reliability. We take every precaution to ensure your air cargo is safe and secure throughout its journey. All shipments are carefully packed (we can advise on air-safe packaging or arrange professional packing services), labelled, and documented. We track flights in real time and confirm arrivals.
  • Tracking & Monitoring:
We provide continuous monitoring of your shipment’s progress. We track flight status and connecting movements, intervening if rerouting is required. We’ll also monitor things like temperature for perishable shipments or battery levels for specialised electronic tracking devices if used.

AEO Accreditation

Our Global freight division holds Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) accreditation, with direct links into CHIEF – HMRC’s electronic submission system for faster customs clearance – and we are members of the British International Freight Association (BIFA). Click here to view terms and condition.
